New and old floors

The bearers are all down.

And the laundry concrete floor and cupboards have been removed.

Plumbers, builders, electricians and wood suppliers

A busy day. Local plumbers Wayne and Brent Roper removed the old plumbing and moved the dishwasher and washing machine to a temporary location.

 

 Ryan and Cody prepared the pile holes..... 

 Mitre 10 delivered timber....

...Cotter and Stevens were here too, looking at installing the water softener.

 By the end of the day the piles were in their holes, waiting for concrete

 And Dean had removed the range, the concrete under it and started removing the concrete floor in the laundry.

By the end of the day Wayne and Brent had set up the temporary laundry and dishwashing area in the guest bedroom.

I didn't get a photo before work started this morning but here's one from 2015 just before we moved in.

The old range, which no longer works, will be relocated to the new kitchen/living extension as a feature.
